Sum Good Sun ~Custom Home~ EAST END, PRIVATE POOL!

Our family had a great stay at Sum Good Sun! The house was very clean, well stocked and super kid friendly. It was an easy walk to the beach even for a toddler and the pool was great for everyone. We used all the porches to relax or eat or watch what was going on. Our family also appreciated the extra refrigerator and the bathroom by the pool. The house worked really well for the 3 generations that stayed.

We had a fantastic stay at this 🌊 beach guest house! Everything about the home felt thoughtfully designed and intentionally laid out to enhance comfort and togetherness. The open layout and abundance of space made it perfect for our family, especially the large screened-in porch which was ideal for outdoor dinners without worrying about bugs 🦟. The kitchen was another standout 👩‍🍳—well-stocked, easy to navigate, and organized with helpful labels that made both cooking and cleanup a breeze 🍽️. The additional refrigerators on the second floor and by the pool made it incredibly convenient to keep drinks and snacks accessible in multiple areas 🧃🧊. Each bedroom was cozy 🛏️ and smartly arranged, with attached bathrooms 🚿 that gave everyone their own private space. The second-floor sitting area with a game closet 🎲 was a huge hit with the kids and gave them their own space to relax and play. The pool and outdoor entertainment area were total highlights 💦🎉. Perfect for a relaxing evening swim, and designed with convenience in mind—the outdoor shower was super helpful for rinsing off after the beach 🏖️, and the poolside bathroom meant no wet feet tracking through the house 🚪. There was even a closet stocked with beach chairs, sand toys, and pool supplies—such a thoughtful touch! 🪣🪏 The location was amazing too—just a four-minute walk to the beach, and yes, we timed it (with kids! 👣) 🏝️. ✨ And if all that wasn’t enough, the service was truly above and beyond. ✨ In addition to the amazing amenities of the house, working with Pier 42 Vacations—and Jaime especially—was a dream 💼🌟. We had a very minor issue, and Jaime was extremely responsive, remedying it immediately in a way that didn’t impact our stay at all 🙌. Our large family has taken many coastal vacations and rented countless properties over the years—this was by far our best rental experience 👏🏽🏆. 📝 A few tips that made our stay even more enjoyable (and might help future guests): we brought essentials like napkins, paper towels, paper plates, plastic utensils, trash bags, ziplocks, aluminum foil, and plastic wrap—great for group meals and quick clean-ups. We also rented a golf cart, which made getting around the island and hauling beach gear so easy (shoutout to Island Cruizers, who were great to work with) 🛺🌴. All in all, this home was the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm. We truly can’t recommend it enough for families or groups looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway! 💖🏡☀️
